Once you have learnt the basics of SUP a river paddle is a fantastic way to enjoy this new sport. It’s a great way to see wildlife without disturbing it. Relax and unwind, enjoy a wild swim and enjoy this sport for all it has to offer.

We usually launch from Monmouth and then paddle down to Redbrook or Whitebrook. We do have other launch option available if there is a specific part of the river you would like to paddle.

River Paddles

River paddles are an amazing way to enjoy SUPing. Journey downstream on your paddle board enjoying birdwatching and spotting interesting river wildlife. We particularly enjoy a stop at a beach or a picnic or jumping in and doing some wild swimming on a hot summers day!

Before joining one of our river paddles you will either need to do a SUP lesson with us or tell us about your SUP experience.  The reason for this is once we have started our river paddle it is difficult to get off the river if you decide SUPing isn’t for you so learning the basics in a lesson first not only will ensure you will be safe on the river but also make your river paddle much more enjoyable.

River Wye

The River Wye is one of the most beautiful places in the UK to paddle. You pass under beautiful old bridges and have open countryside to your left and right. It’s a great place to spot kingfishers, herrings and Cormorants and there are lots of places to jump in for a swim.

Our usual route is from Monmouth to Redbrook or for those more experienced we can continue onto Whitebrook for a slightly longer paddle.

There is a great pub in Redbrook where we can hop out and enjoy a drink and some very pretty beaches along the way where we can stop off and take some time to relax.

There are plenty of other beautiful stretches of river to enjoy and we’ll be letting you know about special river paddles we’ll organise throughout the summer.

Social SUP

We love nothing more than getting together for a fun social paddle. It’s a great way to relax at the end of a long day and get to know new people.

We will be running a social SUP once a week and you can come and join with your own kit or hire ours.

Usually we will paddle from Monmouth to Redbrook and enjoy a drink at the other end.

You must have some paddling experience to join us. If you don’t try one of our SUP Session first and then come for the social.
